Wafting the Eno River has morphed into a new land-based outlet for nature exploration and appreciation known as Tree Camp. This new program will be offered both locally and internationally, but Riverdave's first Tree Camp program will begin on Memorial Day Weekend 2009 at West Point on the Eno Park in Durham, North Carolina.

     Tree Camp is a new program by name only.  In the early 1990's Riverdave led daylong winter walking programs along the Eno, Little and Flat Rivers in Nothern Durham County and to the mountains of Ball, Couch and Occoneechi in Central Orange County. 

     While certainly missing our boating experience, a return to walking will have the advantages of allowing for a more focused learning experience and an opportunity for our group members to better get to know one another.
